Subcategory 8.0 Mosquito Application starting January 1, 2027.
After November 30, 2026, we will no longer be selling 5.0
Aquatic & Mosquito print manuals, PDF manuals, or online courses. No
refunds or exchanges will be issued for Category 5.0 purchases.
To get certified in the current 5.0 category, you must
test by December 31st, 2026. Starting January 1st, 2027, anyone certifying in
the 5.5 Aquatic or 8.0 Mosquito category must have a new manual for
testing.
This category is for anyone who wants to control aquatic pests (such as algae, aquatic weeds, mosquito larva in water, or fish) and also for adult terrestrial mosquito control. This category also works for private fish farm operators (although you can get certified in General Farming as a private applicator if you wish. Go to the Private Applicator store). You might need a DNR permit to apply pesticides to water in addition to becoming certified.
