General Farm in-person training events are over for the current season. Check back in October for the dates of the 2026 training season.
University of Wisconsin Extension and many County Extension Offices will be providing training. To register for a County Training, scroll down and add the county training you wish to attend.
You must purchase the training manual "General Farming," "Fruit Crop" or "Greenhouse and Nursery" before training to take the private applicator certification test. Unless indicated, all training will be based on the General Farming manual; however, Fruit Crops and Greenhouse & Nursery applicators are welcome to attend and take their respective tests. You must register for a training session to attend. Books will NOT be available at the training.
Each person attending MUST register and have their training manual.
